About Us

I am a Secwepemc artist originally from Grand Forks, BC but have been a Prince George resident for over 10 years and am happy to call the culture filled community my home. Since moving here, I have had the opportunity to expand my artistic talents to learn Formline through local and Haida artists and have made my own style by combining it with Pop culture graphics to create what I call Indig-a-fied Fandoms. While I do traditional Formline designs I also work with many mediums of art and has recently decided to make this my full-time job under the name AKS Artistic Designs. Just this year I've participated in Prince George and Grande Prairie’s Fancon’s, Edmonton Expo, National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebrations and had her first Solo Exhibition at the Omineca Arts Centre – with much more planned for the future.

I love nerdy things and art, so one day in boredom I mashed them with Indigenous Formline. So began the journey to here, and now with my art online as stickers and prints - I am sharing my art with you and loving the support and encouragement!
